Elite Dance Works
Company Overview:
Elite Dance works (EDW) is a Dance school based in Colchester, Essex.
Project Requirements:
EDW required a website to primarily attract new customers. Aesthetically pleasing page design and optimisation of the site for search engines were the priority. The school also required a simple, low cost intranet for existing students and their parents to use.
Project Solution:
Working with EDW staff, we spent time understanding the core of the business and what made the company unique in order to design and build solutions that would stand out against the competition.
After gathering and analysing existing media (Literature, Photographs and Video), a design was mocked up in Photoshop until the client was happy with the design. The existing logo design was updated and designed to be used on a variety of media including web, posters and clothing.
The site was built using Adobe Dreamweaver to allow us greater control over the page layout and concentrate on the aesthetics of the site. Work on optimising the large collection of media was undertaken and new photography and video work were commissioned for areas of the site lacking appropriate material.
Extensive work was taken optimising the pages to be effective in search engine rankings and marketing the site to raise the profile and importance of EDW's website.
